Thoughts.
I work to help people explore their firmly held beliefs about themselves, others, and the world. I hope to properly place thoughts in context and support people in looking at their thoughts more critically - just because we think it doesn’t make it true. Transforming our thoughts consciously and unconsciously changes our speech. Any thought we have is worth understanding - why do I believe this? What’s my evidence?

Speech.
I help people learn to be more mindful of the ways in which they speak about themselves, their situations, and others. I hope to increase your ability to hear yourself and choose to speak life. In session, I will often ask people to reflect on the things they say aloud. I can often be heard encouraging people to try saying new things or saying them differently, then reflecting on the impact.

Behaviors.
I support people in making the desired changes in their lives once they’ve established more balanced thoughts and speech. I help people recognize that changed behavior is a result of consistency and choice, and it is important to categorize behaviors as a reflection of where someone is rather than a reflection of their character. Our behaviors give us information about where we’ve grown and where we still need to do some work.
